The USMC Ball in Las Vegas! They hosted fundraisers for 3rd AABN while they were deployed. DeeDee also collected over 350 gowns which were then given to the wives. Gregg and DeeDee were asked by SgtMjr Pankievich to attend the ball as his guests. Where they witnessed one of the most amazing nights of their life.

 The Oceanside Jaycees joined hands with Cigar Grotto for "OPERATION STOGIE"! Over $500.00 of  cigars were sent to Troops serving in Iraq! This effort was matched by civilians and small businesses in Oceanside. This wouldn't be the first or last time Cigar Grotto and The Engels family has supported the troops! Stunning at the 2006 Marine Corps Ball in Las Vegas! Together with the community we were responsible for raising over $9,000.00 to offset the cost of the ball for the men and women returning home from Iraq. They also gathered over 350 gowns and accessories, and shoes to hand out the wives. They wanted to give these men and women a day they deserve.
